Orlando Section Membership Development Report - November 28, 2012

The number of active members at all grades in the Orlando Section increased from 1442 on October 20, 2012 to 1461 on November 24, 2012.

A comparison with the totals for November 25, 2011 shows a year-over-year increase in Orlando Section membership, but with significant year-over-year losses among Associate Members and Members.  The continuing loss among Members is particularly worrisome. There continue to be significant year-over-year gains among Affiliates, Graduate Student Members, Senior Members, and Student Members.

From October 21, 2012 through November 23, 2012, 18 new members joined the IEEE in the Orlando Section:  4 Graduate Student Members, 2 Members, and 12 Student Members. Please reach out and welcome these new IEEE members. Their names appear on the attached list of new IEEE members to the Orlando Section with contact information.

From October 23, 2012 through October 29, 2012, 4 active IEEE members moved to the Orlando Section:  1 Life Member, 1 Member, and 2 Student Members. Please welcome the IEEE members who have moved to the Orlando Section.  Their names and contact information are shown on the attached list.

The number of Members in Arrears for 2012 from the Orlando Section remains at 280, as of November 24, 2012.  Please reach out to lapsed members you know to encourage their membership renewal in 2013.
